Privacy Policy

Promo Game UK Ltd. ("we", "us") is the data controller for personal data processed through this Service. We are registered with the UK Information Commissioner's Office (ICO) under reference ZB 698 014. This policy explains, in plain English, what we collect, why, and what your rights are under the UK GDPR and Data Protection Act 2018.

1. What we collect

  • Game progress — credits, spins, wins, achievements and your chosen leaderboard handle. Stored locally on your device via your browser's localStorage; we do not transmit it to our servers.
  • Cookie preferences — your consent choice, stored locally so we don't ask again.
  • Analytics — anonymous, aggregated information about page views and device type, only collected if you accept the analytics cookie.
  • Communications you send us — name, email, message content and any attachments when you contact support, careers or press.
  • Server logs — IP address and request metadata, retained for up to 30 days for security and abuse prevention.

2. Why we process it (lawful basis)

  • Contract — to deliver the Service you've asked to use.
  • Consent — for analytics and any non-essential cookies.
  • Legitimate interests — to keep the Service secure, prevent abuse and respond to your enquiries.
  • Legal obligation — where we must retain certain records by law.

3. Sharing

We don't sell your data, ever. We share limited data only with vetted processors who help us run the Service (for example, our cloud hosting provider). All processors are bound by data-protection contracts and are based in the UK or EEA, or covered by adequacy decisions / standard contractual clauses.

4. Retention

Local game data stays on your device until you clear it. Support messages are retained for up to 24 months. Analytics data is aggregated and anonymised. Server logs are deleted after 30 days.

5. Your rights

Under UK GDPR you have the right to:

  • Access the personal data we hold about you
  • Rectify inaccurate data
  • Request erasure (the "right to be forgotten")
  • Restrict or object to processing
  • Receive a portable copy of your data
  • Withdraw consent at any time, where consent is the lawful basis
  • Lodge a complaint with the ICO at ico.org.uk or 0303 123 1113

6. Security

We use HTTPS everywhere, encrypted backups, the principle of least privilege and quarterly security reviews. No system is perfect — if you spot a vulnerability, please report it responsibly to [email protected].

7. Children

The Service is for adults (18+). If we learn that we've inadvertently collected data from a child, we will delete it promptly.

8. Changes

We'll post any material change to this policy on the homepage for at least seven days before it takes effect.
